Sexual Abuse: Sexual abuse is criminal offense and a personal injury tort (civil wrong) for which the victim may be compensated. Sexual abuse involves the commission of a sex act to the victim without consent, with the use of force or threat of force, where the victim is incapable of giving consent or where the victim is a minor or underage person. Sexual abuse includes incest and rape.
